Designed to Meet Your Needs
The unique ChromaStar™ antenna design ensures a high purity radiated
signal, essential for high quality digital, and/or analog, television
broadcasting.
Its proven design also enables transmission of two adjacent-channel or single
channel low-power analog or digital television
broadcast stations. The side-mounted
design exhibits excellent tower loading reduction while at the same time
providing broadcasters with
low-power applications with high antenna gain
requirements. The unique TranStar™ antenna feed system that is available
with all of
RFT’s ChromaStar antennas allows for extremely high V.S.W.R,
gain and elevation pattern stability, over a full 12 MHz portion of the band,
(two
contiguous television channels).
Constructed with Efficiency in Mind
The ChromaStar™ 2030 Low-Power Side-Mounted antenna is constructed
in a high-strength passivated aluminum Transverse
Electromagnetic, (TEM),
Mode pylon designed to be mounted directly to the side of virtually any supporting
tower or structure. Each
radiating element or slot along the aperture of
the antenna is equipped with RFT's patent-pending high efficiency broadband
E-Magnex™
electromagnetic coupling structures to efficiently and smoothly
transmit a high-purity television signal.
Rugged Construction
The CS-2030 Side-Mounted antenna is constructed with Passivated high strength
Aluminum. The antenna consists of a center fed 3-1/8”
EIA input tee
and two pylon sections that bolt together. There are no external cables
or power dividers with this robust design. Custom
designed stainless steel
brackets are supplied with each antenna.
The CS-2030 antenna is fully protected
by a high-density polyethylene radome, ultra-low loss and stabilized against
degradation from U.V. radiation in sunlight. In addition, every portion
of the antenna throughout is firmly bonded to DC ground, ensuring enhanced
protection of the antenna and transmitting equipment during lightning storms.
