Corporation lies in the application of precision high power microwave technology
for enhancement of production processes for engineered wood applications. A major leap in efficiency and quality in manufacturing process technology for engineered wood products such as LVL, OSB, LSL, MDF, Particle Board, I Joists, Strawboard and many other products can be instantly realized when properly applying microwave technology. RF Technologies Corporation engineered, developed, patented and manufactured the first wide-billet microwave pre-heating system for EWES Enterprises, LLC. In 1996 EWES was owned by a group including some individuals as well as RF technologies Corporation and Dieffenbacher GmbH & Co. in Germany. Dieffenbacher is now the sole owner of EWES, with License rights back to RFT. The world’s first continuous LVL press line was completed in Canada in 1998. RFT’s design of the EWES System incorporated the DualField(trademark) Circular Magnetic Mode to implement an LVL microwave pre-heating system. This system was installed at the in feed of a Dieffenbacher continuous press. After more than two years of operation, plant production engineers at the mill calculate that the microwave heating system essentially doubles the line’s capacity, and greatly enhances the quality of the final product and boosts the yield of the complete process. |
