TPV-VHF Slot Pylon
Antenna
Features & Benefits
• High Band VHF (Band III) slot Antenna
• Top and Side Mounted Versions
• 25 kW Average Input Power (custom to 40 kW)
• Horizontal and Circular Polarization Available
• Available in a Variety of Omni and Directional Patterns
The TPV series of antennas are slotted coaxial
pylons, available in top or side mounted versions. The TPV series of
antennas are
available from channel 7 to 13 (Band III). Three standard directional
azimuth patterns are available, plus Omni, with a choice of
horizontal,
elliptical or circular polarization versions. The standard input rating
of the antenna is 25 kW average power with a 3-1/8”
EIA input or
40 kW with a 4-1/16” input.
Designed for Excellent DTV Transmission Performance
The TPV series of antennas uses RFT’s patented
E-Magnex™ slot coupling system, which probes both the electrical
and magnetic
fields of the antenna pylon. This ensures a very low group delay signal
across a 6 MHz channel with excellent low V.S.W.R. profiles.
Options for Every Station
The TPV series of antennas are available with a number
of radome options, and can be furnished as stacked arrays with another
VHF
or UHF antenna pylon. Each antenna is custom engineered for optimal beam
tilt and null fill specifications. Wind zone ratings
of up to 150 M.P.H.
basic speed are available. In addition to the TPV antennas, RFT also offers
a low RFR version of the antenna
called the TPV-SFN, which features up to
25 dB less radiation at high depression angles.
